Welcome to our Hip Hop 4' Kidz™ Teacher's Resource Center. Thank you for taking the time to visit us.

Social Development

As a classroom teacher, many times we find that disorderly behavior impedes our students from learning, especially in behavioral modification programs designed to help students with emotional behavioral challenges. Also, students may not have a behavioral challenge, but have a learning difference that delays their learning just the same, and or other health impairments. Our job is to help those students overcome these obstacles.

Our first initiative is to provide social development resources designed to help improve behavior both in the classroom and out of the classroom. Our resource materials will include social development songs, music and public service announcement videos, Tips 4' Teachers, worksheets, role-play activities, informal assessments, etc.

Improving behavior increases learning because obstacles are removed that directly impedes students from learning. The formula is simple, improve behavior, and increase learning, higher expectations, higher education!

Below we have provided a list of different social skill related components. Click on the link that touches the topic of your choice or concern. Each link will direct you to a page that will provide you with educational music, videos, lesson plans, worksheets, etc. The materials provided, are all designed to support the emotional and social learning of elementary students between the ages of 5 and 12.

Academic Development

Another part of our goal is to eventually provide academic resource materials for reading, writing, math, and other content areas. Our academic instructional materials will be aligned with the Common Core State Standards. We will include lesson plans, worksheets, informal/formal assessment sheets, comprehension materials, etc.

We would like to help make your navigating experience smooth and satisfying. There are so many websites to access materials from, and some sites can be extremely difficult to navigate. Therefore, we have made it our duty to provide a super-surf-friendly experience.
